IMF CEO sends message of Solidarity with Somalia on Saturday’s deadly attack in Mogadishu



MOGADISHU (UM) –The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, (IMF) Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde,  has on Sunday sends a message of solidarity with the Government and people of Somalia against yesterday’s terrorist attack which took place in a Mogadishu’s busiest Injunction, killed more than 200 people.

She informed  Finance Minister for the Republic of Somalia, Abdirahman Beileh, and said “that the (IMF)will support Somalia in every possible way to rebuild”.

The Kenyan Central Bank Governor also sent a message of solidarity with the Somali people and Government.

Saturday’s suicide truck attack had caused more 270 people wounded as government officials said that all the victims we civilians.
